Academia in a nutshell

Media Stations

"The matter was new to me, and I had no material for its treatment.  But I got books, read up the facts, laboriously constructed a skeleton out of the dry bones of the real, and then clothed them, and tried to breathe into them life, and in this last aim I had pleasure."  (Charlotte Bronte, Villette, 444)

This is Duke's music library; you can usually find me working on the computer on the far right.  I've had a lot of books arrive for me lately (for final paper-writing purposes), which has inspired several reprises of my new-books-happy-dance from my undergraduate days.
